Work on Attractive.js 1.0.0
I have started work on Attractive.js 1.1.0: the tiny JS package to add little bits of reactivity to your site or app by just writing HTML : add an attribute like on="addClass#active".
The goal is to keep this nimble core in place but open it up for any custom action by registering your own functions (and even classes for more advanced actions).
It is well under way as I have been thinking about this a fair bit. Just released the first alpha. π
Things I am noodling over:
- is the
on=""attribute the right one (along with the newon-target="")βit is customizable though; it wasdata-action/targetbefore - what actions (and modifiers) to keep in the bundle (since actions are now easily added); what actions are truly useful in almost all apps and sites
- the positioning; I know where/how it is useful but how to package/write this down into clear sentence
- what additional (novel) ideas to add as part of 1.0.0 or add later (think: optimistic UI-like features, ideas around custom elements, and so on)
