Rails and Hotwire Development Tool

A little tool to improve your Rails and Hotwire development. Built with a Rails helpers and Stimulus, this open-source utility offers several features to you during the development process.

  You can set it in any view like so <%= content_for(:resource_id) { "some_id" } %>.

Install it by running this template:

bin/rails app:template LOCATION=https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Rails-Designer/rails-hotwire-development-tool/master/template.rb

It will create two files: app/helpers/development/tool_helper.rb and app/javascript/controllers/development/tool_controller.js. It then tries to install the @github/hotkey package and finally inject the helper into your application layout.
